The LICIL Turnpike Players is a Reader’s Theatre group that has performed a variety of works including original and established plays, poetry, readings and improve as well as their version of “Inside the Actors’ Studio.”
If you enjoy working with a fun group of people and have a hidden or not so hidden acting talent, you are welcome to come join The Players. Reader’s heater means there is no memorization required. We concentrate on interpreting the works and polishing the performance. However, if you don’t wish to perform in front of an audience, The Players still need you. We need technical people who are either familiar with or willing to learn Microsoft Power Point, set up microphones and run a sound board and build or find props for performances. There is a place for everyone. The Players meet in the Robert Cimino Theatre at LICIL, fifth floor, room 500.
