The budget is supposed to be finalized and voted on by tomorrow, and #FairPay4HomeCare remains under discussion. The Senate, led by the commitment of Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins, remains committed to making this happen; but the Executive and the Assembly are not yet on board, despite growing calls from you! The struggle to raise wages for home care workers is gaining recognition and support. With just days left til the budget is finalized, it’s up to each and every one of us to keep pushing. Our calls and tweets have been making a huge impact on legislators. Will you take 10 minutes today to call and tweet with us?
