Alianza de Latinos Descapacitados (ALD)
La Alianza de Latinos Discapacitados (ALD por sus siglas en Inglés) es un grupo de Latinos con diversas discapacidades. Nuestra misión es de empoderar y abogar por temas que afectan a Latinos con discapacidades.
Nuestros objetivos son los siguientes:
- Brindar información sobre recursos y oportunidades
- Empoderamiento de personas con discapacidades
- Promover el desarrollo personal
- Promover la participación cívica.
Cualquier persona puede ser miembro de ALD y participar de nuestras reuniones y talleres informativos. Cualquier persona con una discapacidad o padres con hijos con descapacidades son bienvenidos.
Nuestras reuniones se llevan cabo el primer miércoles de cada mes, de 10am-11:30am, en nuestra oficina localizada en el 3601 Hempstead Turnpike, Suite 500, Levittown NY 11787.

Alliance for Latinos with Disabilities
The mission of the ALD is to advocate for Latinos with all kinds of disabilities in order to improve their quality of life within the community.
The Alliance’s primary purposes are:
- To provide information on resources and opportunities
- Empowerment of Latinos with disabilities
- To promote personal development
- To promote Civic Participation
Anyone can join ALD and participate of our meetings and workshops as wells as any person with disabilities or parents of children with disabilities.
ALD meets once a month here at LICIL located at 3601 Hempstead Turnpike, Suite 500, Levittown NY 11787.
